This is the Fed policy, it's stupid, but that's what they are doing. Six yrs ago, it took .94cents to by 1 Euro, today it takes $1.45 to buy one Euro. I'm not too crazy about the Fed monitary policy either, but it's being driven by many more things than the national debt. It's not a business or company as you are thinking. Just look at what the Federal Reserve Chairman, "Helicopter Ben" has been doing. He's dumping billions upon billions of $ into the market to keep the stock market from tanking big time ($41B in just one day last week). The federal government owns the printing presses, they will always have money to pay notes which come due, and to pay the interest on those notes.... Just where are you getting this idea that the government won’t ever be able to pay? It’s not a business or company as you are thinking.

The Taliban was over-thrown in 7wks..not too slow. 6) And who told you CDC stands for Centers for Disease Cures... your Government school?
