I just got done searching on HotJobs. There was one job on there that did not insult my intelligence, was not sales, and I was qualified for at this time. It is very frustrating to live in an area with so little opportunity for success. Perhaps I should move to a more urban area, but I love my home town.
Later I will hit up Monster and any other site with job postings I can find. It’s tough being a geek in a non-geek town. I shall persevere, I shall overcome. There will be something in my future, I just have to keep walking and looking.
I applied for a position with Sears Holdings (Sears/Kmart). It seems like it would fit me and I could bring a lot to their corporation. I suppose I will wait and see what happens.
